The Castors: The New Year

We've started off the new year on a new track. Lots going on, most of all, Jia is living in the UK for the next 6 months or so, which is a great opportunity for him in his career, but a new leap of faith as a family. We facebook and skype often, which is why our blog is not staying so up-to-date!

Caleb is growing so fast! It's hard to believe he was just a tiny thing that couldn't even walk this time last year. Now he's running from me! And laughing! At me! But we couldn't be having more fun! I love this age! Just waiting for those terrible twos!

We have a lot of plans to travel this year. Caleb, my bro Randy, and I are planning a Spring Break trip to visit Jia in the UK. We want to tour the countryside and discover all there is to see (in a week's time!). It will be Caleb's first long flight. (He flew to New Orleans back in November for the cruise - need to post about that too, I guess!!!)

The day we get out of school, our friends, the Esteps, and Caleb, and I will be going back to London - this time to do all the touristy stuff, like Big Ben, the Eye, etc., then jumping over to Paris for a little more sightseeing. Caleb and I are staying with Jia for the summer or until he finishes the job in Europe. Totally excited about seeing lots of Europe on the weekends!

THEN, Jia and I go on our annual tropical vacation, this year to Barbados. I get to scuba again, and Jia plans on going deep-sea fishing (on a real boat, this time - just ask about our "fishing" trip in Tobago last year!!!)

Our plans for working are a lot more vague than our vacationing plans. We are going to have to wait to see what Jia's job is going to provide - we could be moving to London, Australia, Maine, or Antarctica (just kidding) for all we know! So we'll just wait, pray about it, and see where God guides us.
